Code of Conduct
Fairways for Warriors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hope and healing to combat veterans and their families. Participation in the organization’s programs is subject to the observance of the organization’s rules and procedures. The activities outlined below are strictly prohibited and are given as examples but not inclusive. Any participant or staff member who violates this Code is subject to discipline, up to and including removal from the program.

Abusive language toward our organization, a staff member, volunteer, or another participant.

Disorderly conduct due to the use of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs while attending organizational sponsored events by Fairways for Warriors or other sponsor events.

Bringing dangerous or unauthorized materials such as explosives, firearms, weapons, or other similar items while attending organizational sponsored events by Fairways for Warriors or other sponsor events.

Discourtesy or rudeness to our organization, a fellow participant, member, staff member or volunteer.

Verbal, physical, or visual harassment of another participant, member, staff member or volunteer.

Actual or threatened violence toward any individual or group.

Conduct endangering the life, safety, health, or well-being of others.

Failure to follow any event policy or procedure.

Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any participant, member, staff member or volunteer.

Failing to cooperate with event staff.
All members should act with honesty and integrity, avoiding actual or apparent conflicts of interest in personal and professional relationships while attending any Fairways for Warriors or sponsored event.
All members should not engage in illegal acts characterized by deceit, concealment, or violation of trust or fraud. These acts are not dependent upon the application or threat of violence or of physical force but can be perpetrated by parties to obtain money, property, or services; to avoid payment or loss of services; or to secure personal or business advantage.
Fraud may involve:

falsification or alteration of accounting records.

misappropriation of assets or theft

suppression or omission of the effects of transactions from records or recording of transactions without substance

intentional misapplication of accounting policies or willful misrepresentation of transactions or of the entity’s state of affairs

misapplying corporate or bank funds

unauthorized use of organizational funds for any reason.
Fraud may also involve manipulation of information system applications and data for personal advantage. I have read and I understand the Fairways for Warriors’ Code of Conduct. I agree to abide by the rules described above and understand that I may be removed as a member if I violate any of these rules.
